Lobby, corridor, room and restaurant each want a different light level and a different colour temperature. In hotel projects we mostly use the linear, pendant and recessed ranges.

What matters in this space

Build two layers in the lobby
Set the general level with linear or recessed fittings, then pick out reception and the seating groups with track spots.

Cut glare in the corridor
Choose a deep recess or an asymmetric optic in the recessed range so no light hits the eye directly.

Bring the colour temperature down in the room
2700–3000 K works in rooms and 3000–4000 K in the shared areas. We can produce both values within one fixture family.
